Recovering Cowboy Regulator is a five-part documentary series centered on Jeff Daugherty, a former county regulator in Wyoming. Drawing from his experience working in and around Yellowstone, the series reflects on the practical realities of regulation, personal responsibility, and the tension between policy theory and lived experience. Through extended interviews and restrained visual storytelling, the project presents a grounded, character-focused perspective rather than a debate.
